community guidelines

Updated on March 10th, 2023

Welcome to Cena Berlim, a community of Brazilian creative professionals based in Berlin. We are excited to have you join us and share your talents with our community. We aim to connect Brazilian artists in Berlin and offer space for sharing ideas, tips, experiences, and opportunities in the arts and creative industry.

The community came up in 2020 as an attempt to solve difficulties and common issues faced by Brazilian artists in Berlin, like the urge for:

• new job opportunities and funding;

• solid and reliable support network in the city;

• safe space for sharing ideas, contents, projects, events, and tips;

• connection with other Brazilian artists and professionals also living and working in Berlin.

Cena Berlim provides a safe space for sharing and discussing ideas, experiences, and opportunities and supports a reliable network of contacts and assistance for the community, aiming to improve people's lives as immigrants and artists in Berlin. We communicate with each other and with the Berlin community through this digital platform, social networks, newsletter, and instant messaging application (WhatsApp group).

In addition to the relationship in an online environment, periodic face-to-face events are held to increase interaction between members (internally called Ceners) and publicize and promote their works and artistic and cultural projects.

• Be collaborative and report violations: If you see any violations of these guidelines or inappropriate behavior, please report it to the community coordination.

In case of non-compliance with these guidelines that result in damage or harm to other members of the community, Cena Berlim reserves the right to:

In addition to these actions, Cena Berlim can also take action under the terms of the law, as disposed of in the Terms and Conditions of our Services.

By following these guidelines, we hope to create a welcoming and supportive community for everyone. Thank you for being a part of our community!

POSTING AN OPPORTUNITY

We encourage you to post useful and interesting jobs, open calls, events, classes, workshops, and other content for the community, especially those related to the fields of arts and culture. The goal here is to keep and compile in an online space a valuable, updated, and proper database of opportunities.

When sharing an opportunity, please include all the information necessary for understanding and consuming the opportunity, especially essential data such as:

• eligibility requirements and criteria;

• rewards and compensations;

• important dates and deadlines;

• selection process;

• involved fees.

Write everything in a clear and concise manner to facilitate comprehension. We suggest you fill in as many fields as possible, even if it is optional. It's crucial to provide a way for users to contact you (or the responsible for the opportunity, if it's not you) with questions or inquiries about the post.

Cena Berlim will not tolerate scams or situations that may cause any harm to other users. We take these community guidelines and quality standards very seriously. All profiles and posts are subject to review, and any that violate these guidelines or fail to meet quality standards may be deleted.
