As a state-owned company, Kulturprojekte  Berlin GmbH  supports the promotion, networking and communication of culture in the capital. As a competent partner for Berlin culture and the state of Berlin, the company designs and organizes complex cultural projects and city-wide initiatives as well as themed years on contemporary historical events, commemorations and anniversaries. It runs venues and festivals and provides services for museums and other cultural institutions in the city.

In the advertised position, you will be primarily responsible for projects in the cultural promotion, museum services and consulting departments . This includes long-standing offers or products, such as the Berlin Museum Service or the Museum Journal, the city-wide cultural portals Berlin Bühnen and the Museum Portal as well as the Creative Culture Berlin Advisory Center. But the platform for outdoor urban culture – DRAUSSENSTADT and the Berlin-Wrocław cultural train as well as the Berlin Museum Sunday are also located here. At the interface to the department management and the project employees as well as to external partners, service providers and printing companies, you will be responsible for the communication media and means of the respective projects from the idea to the final quality control and thus for the visibility of our offers from the urban space to the (social) Web care.

- Conception, planning and design of communication and marketing materials including time planning and management
- Graphic and motion design of social media and campaign visuals as well as (advertising) ads for digital media and print publications
- Development and implementation of layouts, mainly based on existing basic layouts (media design)
- Development of new corporate designs if necessary
- Implementation of operational design activities such as final artwork, image editing, revision of existing designs as part of a redesign, location branding and creation of templates for use in PowerPoint, Word and interactive PDFs
- Interface coordination between team members and external parties (print shops, agencies, service providers, etc.)
- Administrative tasks and procurement processes in close consultation with the administration department and the department management

Your profile:
- At least 5 years of overall subject-specific experience (including training): e.g. successfully completed (technical) university degree or equivalent training and/or professional experience with comparable tasks
- Relevant experience in the field of communication or graphic design
- Relevant experience in the conception and design of various products (print and online media as well as animated formats)
- Experience in motion design (video editing) is desirable
- Experience in the area of ​​barrier-free communication is desirable
- Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office programs
- Good knowledge of Berlin's cultural landscape
- Structured and careful way of working
